It's going well so far, but we've only gotten down to the first beholder on the right passage. I've got a few surprises setup for the party, such as the flail-snails and some of the rooms I've made them into something kind of silly and un-expected; but I gathered that was your intent
Finished the dungeon! The party stuck mostly to the right side of the page (oddly enough), but they got down alright. There were a couple of close calls, such as a mimic door and when their barbarian decided to take on a shambling mound all on their own; also strangely enough the whole party avoided the Flail-Snails like the plague, shame since I'd downloaded their stats onto a flash card for myself. Lastly at the very bottom at the exit I made them enter a huge well-lit cavern where the wizards 'tower' was, and someone else was already in the tower waiting for them having come the 'back-way'.
And there ya have it, successful dungeon ran in two sessions for an average party of 5 level 7's.
